Love might be so good to feel but it can be your greatest weakness and can cause your greatest downfall.
I don't want to justify Alec's wrong doings but I have to admit, I'm kind of moved with his love story with Elizabeth. I wish it had a better ending though. But that wasn't the case. It was tragic, a very tragic one. I don't think Elizabeth's main reason was just that she wants to have an ordinary human life, though. I figured there must be a deeper reason than that and I'm curious what it is. Because honestly, even if she loved humanity so much, that reason still isn't enough for her to turn her back on her mate. And also, Alec was so sure that she didn't fall in love with the man she married. And I am convinced with that too. Because if she fell for him while they were in the marriage, she would have lived with longer with their child instead of taking her own life.
