"Who are you?" I asked, I made sure that my voice was loud enough for someone on the other side to hear me. However, a few seconds passed and I didn't hear any response at all. It added to the tension I'm feeling.

The whole time I was aware that I was falling, my eyes were close and there was still that fear that I might hit something down there. Though, the fear slowly faded when I felt how warm and hard the arms wrapped around my body were.Carter's not gonna do something that would hurt me. I hold onto that belief.And when I finally felt the cold water against my skin, I didn't hit onto anything. It was just the cold water, me holding my breath, and the ironclad body against me.
