Anna had bombarded him with questions about the best places to hide and the strategies they would use to return to the courthouse in time for the trial. He had deduced that whenever she was uncomfortable, whether in or out of bed, she attempted to exert control over the situation. It made no difference to him at all. In point of fact, it gave him a certain amount of satisfaction to know that he had overcome the obstacle in bed.
