35| Screams Of Terror.

Konstatins' Point Of View...

With the cell door being left wide open behind me and Leo, her screams of terror are free for those to enjoy who can hear her.

I lower my gun slowly as I cast a look at Leo. His breathing is ragged as his eyes scan the room with a deathly scowl on his face. Our dark figures cast a shadow upon her as we tower over her small frame, shivering on the hard surface.

Her cries don't stop, the soft murmurs of fear trapping her waft through the room.

She's being held captive in her dreams.

"Bad dreams," Leo says with a heavy sigh as he shoves a frustrated hand through his hair. The metal of his gun rubs against his jeans as he slips it into the brown leather holster strapped to his side and he looks back at me. "I thought someone was in the room with her." Tiredness mars his face along with the eternal look of fear. He brushes a hand over his jaw as he takes a moment to compose himself. "Merda [Shit], I thought that..."
