Li-lah did the finishing touches to her make-up and in less than Two minutes, she was set to go. She rushed out of her room down to the living room. "Lia! Hurry up and come down. We're running late."

"I'll be down in a sec." Lia called back and rushed down the stairs.

At that moment, Samantha walked into the living room. "Going out?"

"Yeah! There's a parent teacher meeting in Lia's school concerning the event."

"Oh! I see. Isn't it a bit to early to start attending those? Won't it affect your plans."

Li-lah smiled. "This is part of the plan. I've been able to see Mateo and know how to get to him. Now I need to get close to his wife too. Observe her circle of friends and acquaintances and see how to strike there."

"That sounds challenging. What if she doesn't like you?"

"She will," said Li-lah, "or she will become very cautious. I will be subtle."

"It's alright. Just be careful."
