Maria shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She had no choice but to tell him the truth. "I didn't come up with it entirely on my own, father. A friend suggested the idea to me."

As Maria's voice trailed off, her father's expression shifted from curiosity to concern. He leaned forward, his brows furrowing.

"A friend?" he asked, his voice laced with suspicion. "Maria, who is this friend you're talking about? And what idea are you referring to?"

Maria hesitated, realizing the weight of her confession. She took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "Father, it's someone I met recently," she admitted, her voice trembling slightly. "Her name is Li-lah. We've been spending a lot of time together, and she's been telling me about different ways people make money. She mentioned this particular method, and... I thought it might be worth considering."

Her father's eyes narrowed, and he leaned back in his chair, his gaze fixed on Maria. "Li-lah, you say?" he repeated, the name rolling off his tongu
