“Of course you can move back in with me, my love. As a matter of fact, I pleaded and pleaded with you not to move on from the room. But you just needed your space at that time to continue your writing and everything, so that’s why you moved out. But I really, really miss sharing the room with you and especially bearing a child with you,” he said, hugging me.

I hugged him back, feeling a surge of mixed emotions. He was so warm and gentle, but I knew he was hiding something from me.

“Please, don’t make this harder than it already is,” I whispered, and he let out a hearty laugh.

“What is hard about this though? That I want to spend every minute with my wife?” He said and I smiled at him. He had such a charming smile.

“I need some time to think,” I said and he sighed.

“No no, my love. You need some time to rest,” he said and I hugged him back. “Of course,” I whispered. He was so peaceful. I was enjoying this version of him already.
