The children, trapped and powerless, could only watch in horror as their brother's blood stained the ground, their own bodies still held in the grip of the invisible force that rendered them immobile

"Maybe I should have aimed for the thigh, that might be more painful, right?" Lucifer mused aloud, his voice dripping with a cold, calculating detachment. He was just about to unleash another spell when he sensed a subtle disturbance in the mana surrounding him.

"Ah, little sister, you've really become proficient in magic," he said, his tone tinged with a mixture of surprise and admiration. "It didn't take more than a few minutes to break free from an A-rank spell. At this rate, won't you surpass me soon?" Lucifer's chuckle was a menacing, mirthless sound that sent shivers down the spines of the children.
