Chapter 16: Fight

More than dozens of wolves surround her, gnashing their teeth and growling. The ferocity was devastating, each swipe of the claws aimed at her heart. They attacked, forming a dense line; jumping, clawing, and biting.

The presence of the trees didn’t hinder them; instead, they helped them to move with much more ease. Those wolves would jump at the trees and use the rebound force to fly at her with claws, ready to tear her skin.

As expected, this was a trap. These wolves with various fur colors came to assassinate her.

Irene didn’t stay idle under such pressure; her feet moved nimbly, using the short-range teleportation to evade each attack and stuck back.

Her pale complexion made her seem weak as if a mere soft breeze would sweep her away; however, each movement of her hands and feet was cruel, with no mercy or the slightest hesitation. Every time she grasped the gigantic neck of a wolf, with her seemingly weak strength, its neck would be snapped off a second later.
