Ashley walked out of the ward in tears and sat in the hallway, she bowed her head and cried silently.

She cried for a while until she felt a presence watching her, she looked up to see a little girl in front of her, the girl smiled at her and she smiled back. Although the girl stood a bit far from her and she wondered why.

It was obvious the girl also has the same disease her mother has but it's probably still at an early stage.

The girl held a small box and Ashley saw it was an oxygen box.

“Isn't that heavy?” Ashley asked referring to the box as she wiped her tears.

“No, it's not. Am used to it already.” She replied with a smile and Ashley nodded.

“Why are you crying? Are you okay?”

“Yes, am fine,” Ashley replied and sniffed.

“But you don't look fine.”

“Am fine dear, so tell me, how old are you?”

“Am eight years old.”

“Eight? How long have you been here?”

“I have been here since I was five.” She replied with a smile.

“Really? Why are you staying so far from me?”
