Bellona Pov

Beep… Beep… The continuous and annoying beeping sound woke me up. I opened my eyes slowly and the first person I saw was Silver, who was looking down at me worriedly and relieved.

“Wh.what happened?” I asked, my throat dry and my voice husky. Silver helped me up, and he took a bottle of water and helped me drink it. After helping me, he sat on the bed, staring at me.

“What happened?” I asked, breathing out softly.

“Vampires attacked you,” he said. I suddenly remembered what happened, those fuckers. They must have been planning it during their break. That is why they haven’t attacked us since. I wonder why I couldn’t smell them and it also seems they have been watching my movements because they attacked me when I was weak, but how come I didn’t notice them?

“Oh” I said, nonchalantly. He looked at me unbelievably.

“Oh? Just oh? You almost died and the sword only missed your heart by an inch,” he said, making hand gestures. I look at him. He seems worried.

“You seem worried
