He pulled away from the hug and ran his hands through his hair, Xalia stared at him and he breathed out.

“I have to go to work.” He muttered and was about to walk out of the door but Xalia stood in his way.

“You want to go to work in this state?”

“Is something wrong?” He asked back.

“If you were going to work, why didn't you leave earlier?”

“You didn't come down for breakfast.” He replied.

“I… I was scared.” She muttered and he exhaled.

“I have to go now, I will be home early.” He said and walked out without waiting for her to give a response.

“Ugh.” She groaned and fell on her bed. The thought of her being home alone bothers her, she really wished Draven left early but that was when he didn't talk to her, but now, she really wishes he could stay.
