Sacred Promises

They jumped in the car and began heading home, John felt a sense of nervous anticipation building within him as he tried to break the silence and talk to Darius about his decision. He was about ready to speak when the Alpha spoke up.

"We're gonna make a little detour. I wanna show you something," Darius said,a note of excitement coloured his words.

John's curiosity piqued, and he simply nodded in response. About an hour into their journey, Darius took a sharp turn, veering onto what appeared to be a dirt track. They continued along the bumpy road for about ten minutes until Darius parked on the side.

"We'll have to continue on foot or shift from here. What do you prefer?" Darius asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
