Chapter 24

Poppy POV

I didn't know what I felt as I saw Aziel in the shower but I just knew I couldn't walk away from him, I needed to be there for him.

When he begged me to go away I became sad and to prove my point I told him "never".

He stared into my eyes for what felt like hours but it probably was just a few seconds and his green eyes widen before he closed them and I could see he let the tears fall down his cheeks.

I leaned forward and kissed his lips gently before I rested my forehead against his and he took my hands in his own. 

"I want to show you, Poppy" Aziel whispered and I nodded carefully.

I opened my mind and I felt Aziel there and he forced his memory into my mind. The first was of us, the first time we met. I was fifteen and Holly introduced him to us, the second was when I first talked to him a few months later and the third was when he realised I and him were mates.
