Chapter 18

After Liam and Sebastian left, I faced the staff who hurried over to us looking concerned. "Help him, please." I requested the hospital staff who helped him into one of the empty wards and passed him a shirt that he wore and left the buttons open. Sweats were passed to him as I turned around and he removed the cloth wrapped around his torso and wore the sweats. They helped him sit on the bed.

"I'm fine," He said to the staff as I turned around and stared at his injury, one of the staff members said that it was not serious.

"Is it hurting?" I asked in a small voice knowing very well that he must be hurting and it must be painful for him. I avoided looking at his chest where the wounds were.

"I'm fine," He said with a small smile. With that smile on his face, no one could say he was hurt.

"Please, treat his wounds," I said looking at the nurse who nodded at me.

"No, it's not needed," Jason said and I turned to look at him muddled.

"You're hurt. You need treatment," I said with wide eye
