90. A Doctor's Appointment.

Lily's POV;

"Good morning Luna," Sue flashed me a contagious smile.

I smiled back, "Sue," I murmured while scanning her from head to toe.

Sue's knock on the door startled me because I hadn't seen her since Darius came into the pack. She was the last person I expected on my door this morning.

What was she doing here in her condition?

She stood there, smiling weakly, holding two wrapped boxes in her hands. She looked radiant, despite her pale complexion and bulging pregnancy belly.

"May I come in to see my 5-year-olds?" she asked politely. I nodded

"Of course, girl. Come on in." I hugged her and gestured for her to enter. "You look amazing for someone who just got out of the hospital. How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling much better, thanks. It was just a minor complication, nothing to worry about." She handed me the boxes. "These are for Mason and Madison. I'm sorry I missed their birthday party yesterday. I heard it was a blast."
