CHAPTER ONE: " Pt02: Maid at first sight!"

I immediately put all the snack that I prepared for the boys. My hands are shaking a bit as I go to the living room. There is three boys in total. I dare not to look in their faces. 

"H-here is the food." I clear my throat. Even my voice is shaking. The boy in the single sofa look at me. He's reading a book in his hand. I know that book! It's Our dawn is hotter than day. A book about two people who keep their night busy while sleeping in the daylight. 

I kind of find it weird for someone like him to read that novel. "Thank you for the food." The man in the sigle sofa said softly. I blink a few times as I stare at his face. He's handsome with a baby face. He look harmless and gentle. I gulp before fixing my glasses. 

"Are you even sure that she's the new maid?" An arrogant voice coming from a man with a scary arrogant face said making me want to explain and introduce myself. But the man from the kitchen beat me again.

"Why? She look like a maid. Beside if you are thinking that she is one of Michael's fling--" The tree of them stare at me. It makes me so uncomfortable that my palm started sweating. "--You gotta think again." The man from the kitchen continue.

I was about to open my mouth to talk when we all heard a car engine dying followed by my brother's appearance.

Kuya Michael's face instantly changed when he look at his friends. "What the fuck are you guys doing here and why the fuck is my sister in front of you?!" He harshly said. 

I fix my glasses uncomfortably. Kuya I just want to remind you that I'm not used into cursing words. And it looks like my Brother's mouth is a cursing machine. Momma, my mother's mother, raise me properly. So I'm not into cursing and bad people. But it looks like I have a bad boy of a brother together with his friends.

"WHAT?! SHE'S YOUR SISTER?!" I grimace with his loud voice. The man from the kitchen. The one with the Anime face. Gosh! He is so loud! 

Kuya Michael raise a brow. "Why? Did you did something stupid?" He suspiciously ask. The three men look at me and the Anime bishy laugh nervously.

"Of course we did nothing. Absolutely nothing." There is thickness in every words he said. The man with the glasses shake his head while the arrogant looking man is--- still looking arrogantly.

Kuya Michael look at me. I shake my head and my hands. "They did nothing. I just delivered some snacks for them."

It makes Kuya Michael to frown. "Can't you get your own food Dice?" 

"Dice thought your sister is the new maid." The man in a glasses said before closing the book. He stand up and extend his hand. 

I look at him as he smile at me. I fix my falling glasses awkwardly. "Hi, I'm Christian Michael's friend." I awkwardly shake his soft hand. Gosh! I feel ashamed for my rough hands.

"M-Margaret-- It's nice meeting you." I immediately  let go of his hand and look away. I think I found my new crush. I have a lot of crushes that came from different books. Yes. I'm a hopeless romantic. Someone who loves fictional characters.

"Ops... sorry for earlier Margaret. I'm Dice by the way and that ugly arrogant man is Stone. Yeah~ he's like his name!" Dice, the Anime bishy said. He's bubbly. 

"So you really thought my sister is a maid?" Kuya Michael ask and Dice nervously laugh again making Christian to laugh. 

"W--well, I just ask for a food? It won't kill right?" Dice hesitantly said. My brother shake his head. "It can kill. I will for making my sister work for you." My brother roll his eyes before settling the foods (he have in his hands the whole time) in the table.

"Come on, Chandra. Eat with us." Kuya Michael said. I shake my head before smiling slightly. "I have a lunch with Mommy before going here...so I'm kinda little full."

Kuya Mayk nodded his head. "Okay. If you want you can take a nap first and there will be foods if you are hungry. " I just smile at my brother before going upstairs. 

This is so much for my first time being here! When I finally flop in my bed. I just stare at the ceiling-- "oh, nice there's glow in the dark moon and stars." I smile and think that Kuya Mayk is so thoughtful in making my room better.

I get my phone from my pocket to have a music. It's so quiet here. I'm not used in being in a quiet place. It's somehow making me feel uncomfortable. I think I will need to adjust more since I was used in having my cousins around.

"This hurt that I'm holding's getting heavy

But I'ma keep a smile on my shoulders 'til I'm sweaty

Beggin' on my knees

Screamin', "Someone come and help me"

But by the time they're there

I've already hid the body~"

I think I will miss my cousins company. It makes me to wonder. Will I gonna get any friends here?

"My breath's gettin' short and I'm unsteady

Wellin' up in tears as I lay upon your belly

Telling you, "I'm fine I don't really need nobody"

But you say through a sigh

That I said that lie already~"

To think of it, I don't have much friends even in the province. I'm picky when it comes to someone that I will trust.

"I just needed company now

Yeah, I just needed someone around

Yeah, I don't care what song that we play

Or mess that we make

Just company now

Comfort crowd~"

I smile as I think of what bond I will make with my brother. I was also thinking on opening the topic about our parents.

I was so lost in my thoughts to the point that I slowly fall asleep while listening to a random music...
