I was really hungry at this point, and I felt like I could not function. Just then a reminder popped up on my screen and I gasped.

I forgot to remind Dimitri that he has a meeting in about two hours.

Yikes.

I immediately stood up from my chair and walked into his office. When I entered, he did not even bother to look at me but instead, laid his head on the desk.

“Boss, do not forget that you have a meeting today at twelve with an undisclosed client.”

I childishly chuckled at the way I addressed him as ‘boss’.

I knew his ears perked up at that because he was about to lift his head before he forced himself not to.

This man is a literal child. In fact, I would not be surprised if he were pouting right now. He muttered something under his breath, but even with my werewolf hearing I could not muster what it was, so I just assumed he said thank you.
