I turned on the shower and while I waited for the water to get hot, I went ahead and began to brush my teeth. When I got done with freshening up my breath, I undid the bun in my hair and stepped into the shower. I would assume that the hairstylist needed clean hair to make me look like a princess for the night.
Today is the day of the charity event. After Dimitri told me I had to make an appearance and that I had no choice in the matter, I had been overthinking the event and thinking about the worse possible scenarios that could play out while I am there. Supposedly there would be an auction, where actual women would be bet on by old creepy men and would be forced to spend a night with them or go on a date with them. It is really up to the creepy old men on what they want to do to the women. Damn, that sounds bad. It is not anything sexual but more of a companionship sort of thing.
