As I ended the call with Dimitri, I looked down at the piece of paper in my hand that I tore out from the book. The prophecy was coming to pass just as predicted and it is not as Dimitri thinks it is. He is a part of the prophecy, and he is not on the good side of things. I do not know if his ill intentions have already been sought out, but I had to ensure that he was kept out of the loop about what the prophecy said about him.

Basically, the prophecy states that a man will be born to court the Moon Goddess to her victory, but this man will fall in love with her. For the Gods have created her in the likeness of perfection she would always be desired but shall not desire. He who desires the Goddess shall grovel at her feet and meet her every wish and demand, but he who does not and is rejected shall accept his fate.
