He had noticed that the food he was eating wasn't made by Selena, since he took his first bite but he didn't say anything because he was too ashamed to talk. But now when he heard that he was going to heal faster when his mate was by his side, he decided to look for an excuse to bring her close to him.

"Madam Vicki and the chefs," Hyrene replied.

Marcus frowned.

" How many times have I said that I only want Selena to make my meals? Is she lazing around again?"
