He took his coffee and took a sip from it. Tasting the nicely brewed coffee, the edge of his lips twitched.

"Your Highness, I will definitely pay you back but it will be bit by bit" she said.

Dylan snorted and this made her think that he doesn't believe her.

"I promise you I won't run. For you to know, I made my grandmother write me a note that I won't run away" she said.

She brought out the note from her pocket and gave it to Dylan.

Dylan took the paper and looked at it. The handwriting was nice. He then gave her back the book.

"Not interested," he said blankly.

Selena, whose hope has been rising up, looked downcasted. She didn't know why he had refused to help her.

"Don't be a cheapskate, your Highness" she said grumbled.

She didn't even know that she just insulted the Alpha King.
