Even when he was still Selena's mate, she had never tried to gain his attention, talk more of taking care of him. He had always had to force her to do everything.

But now seeing her nicely dressed and how she was treating the Alpha King, he knew he missed out a lot.

"Let's continue" Dylan said and for the first time, he broke his principle. He ate while having a meeting.

Lucius was just smiling and thinking things were very good with the two. Although he didn't know what his Alpha was thinking, he thought that he had accepted his mate.

After Dylan's meeting, he received a call that Andrea was already on her way. This really disturbed Dylan a bit. He knew he had taken something away from Selena so he didn't want to make her so sad.
