Chapter 9

Dylan didn't return to the pack house to sleep. He had stayed in the restaurant like that.

Lucius wasn't so pleased at his decision but what then could he do?

Selena when she saw that the sky was already grey, she didn't know if the Alpha King wanted to sleep there but then she still dragged her grandmother's bed outside.

It was a big one but she and her grandmother carried it.

Lucius, when he saw them, ran to them and helped them. He didn't know where they were taking it to but then he still helped them.

Selena ran inside and brought the bedspread and the quilt.

"Your Highness, I know this is not what you are used to but then we are poor and couldn't afford hosting a royal. But trust me this bed is neat and you won't be infested by anything" she rushed out.

Lucius looked at her.

" Why are you saying this?" He asked.

"Em...... You can take a nap before you leave" she said.

Lucius looked at the bed. He didn't think it was a good idea to lie on such an old mattress.
