I don't remember when my tiresome body fell into deep slumber after tossing and turning late night waiting for his arrival. The sunrays from the window broke my sleep. I fluttered my lashes to clear my mind. I sat on the bed groggily resting on one hand while scratching my head with the other.

A yarn escape from me. It took few seconds for me to recall the yesterday night events. He left in a haste after Ezra called him. I looked on the other side of the bed to find it pristine which gives a clear indication that nobody slept.

What took him the entire night? My mind started thinking about the different possibilities. He should be considerate enough to inform me if he needs to stay away the whole night. Now even he wasn't free enough to show himself up. I took my cell phone from the headbox and dialled his number.
