The Priest Isn't My Savior

Ella:

I looked around hoping for some help but no, there was no one in the jungle as far as I could see. I tried to call the police to inform them about the unnatural things happening in the house but unexpectedly there was no signal on the phone. I frowned and after making multiple attempts I simply gave up the thought of calling the police.

I tried to stand but my foot felt too painful. I hissed in pain and sat back to take a few deep breaths. "Come on, Ella. Come on." I tried to give courage to myself and again tried to stand up but no. I again fell down heavily on the grass and squealed in pain, "Ahhh..."

I closed my eyes trying to think of a way to go. I sensed someone's presence around me and just as I opened my eyes I could see no one but there was a big wooden stick placed on the grass, closer to me.

I immediately grabbed it and then by the stick's support I was able to stand. I sighed feeling grateful, whoever is helping me I am sincerely grateful for it
