Love doesn't demand love and submission

"ROSE, I AM ASKING YOU ONE LAST TIME, WHY THE FUCK WERE YOU CHASING THAT INTRUDER?"

Calix roared and shook Rose violently but as usual, he got no response.

Once that intruder absconded, Calix continued questioning Rose about his identity but she didn't open her mouth not even for once. She kept mum the whole time, infuriating Calix.

Pushing her away, he screamed in frustration. He was trying hard not to hurt her although his demons were compelling him to let them out. Her defiance was not only making him angry but sad that even after staying with him under one roof for so many days, she still doesn’t trust him an ounce bit. She was hiding a stranger from him and was trusting him more than him. He could be dangerous but she was ready to opt for that risk rather than expose the truth to him.

Running a hand through his unruly raven hair, Calix took a deep sigh before looking at Rose who was staring at the floor quietly.
