“This is completely uncalled for!” Simon continued to protest until we took the bag off his head. Sitting down in my office chair, Axel stood by the door. Simon slammed his stuff down as he straightened his clothes.

“After what you heard in there and you think I give a damn about your clothes getting twisted?” My patience was wearing very thin as the need to get to Charlotte was high.

“Surely you don’t have any questions. Clearly Jasmine was making up stories and there isn’t any proof of that girl being the missing daughter of the late king and queen.” Axel pushed his words into the conversation.

“However, there isn’t any proof that she isn’t the missing daughter. A blood test will be done and then we will be moving forward with the trial. You will get my report early next week.” Simon gathered up his belongings and turned to leave.

“I’ll look forward to it.” The sarcasm was thick and he knew it.
