This was not how I thought my day would go at all. Dice and I were laying in bed this morning cuddling and talking. We honestly are taking the time to really get to know each other. But all good things always come to an end we were laughing at a bad joke he told me when we heard shots downstairs. Dice grabbed his gun and ran after telling me to stay put. I sat in the corner for who knows how long when the door opened. I was happy because I thought Dice came back but all the color drained from my face when I looked up to see Brent.
