Ashley sat on the chair beside the bed and watched Ann who lying on the bed. Ann couldn't help the tears that streamed down her cheeks. Thinking of how she had been cruel to her sister, she was starting to realize that she never deserved it. She had wronged her sister so much and didn't know if she would ever forgive her.

"Thank you for saving me," She managed to speak up, and Ashley nodded.

"How are you feeling now?" Ashley was forced to ask, and she nodded.

"Thank you... I'm feeling much better now,"

"You should get some rest... I have things to attend to," Ashley had made up her mind earlier to forgive her, but seeing her face brought back the scars. It was hard to let go of what Ann had done to her. It was difficult to pretend nothing ever happened after all the pain she was subjected to because of her.

"You must be irritated by my presence," Ashley stopped on her track and slowly clenched her fingers tightly, and gritted her teeth as she stared into space. Maybe she ac
