Asher ran his fingers through his hair and cursed silently for the umpteenth time as he paced restlessly in his office. He tried not to think about it, but in the end, it wasn't something he could help. How could she think of that of all the possible things she could do? What if she ended up falling for him again?

"Why are you worried about that? She is just your sex toy, Asher. Are you in love with her?" His subconscious mind reminded him, and it felt like he was losing his mind.

"Fuck!" He cursed out loudly and slammed his hands on the desk. What if they were together now? What if she allowed him to take her to work? What if that was not the case and he went to the hospital to see her? Just the thought of it was driving him mad and it's crazy how he couldn't even control it.
