Asher drove into his company and pulled over at the parking lot. He stepped out of the car and brought out his phone from his pocket.

"Should I call her?" He mumbled as he clicked on the 'call log' displaying a few numbers, of which Ashley's number was one of them.

"Why should I call her? There is no reason to," Asher told himself and held his phone firmly, but he was worried if she got to the office safely.

"There is no crime in calling her. I should know if she got to work safely," He muttered and finally dialed the number. The call rang for a few minutes before she finally answered it.

"Why did you take so long to answer the phone? Don't you think you should answer your husband's call as soon as you see it?" He rolled his eyes as he rested his back on his car and stared into space.

"I got busy as soon as I arrived at the hospital. I had no idea my phone was ringing. Why are you calling though?" Her sweet voice sounded from the other end, and Asher's cheeks flushed as h
