chapter 7:

SARAH

“Shit!” I heard him mutter under his breath with his hands wrapped around the clips of my bra.

“How on earth do I take these off!” Ryan said fumbling on the clasp of my bra.

I suppressed a smile, the minute I heard the strap of the fabric of my bra rip and I could tell he had ruined one of my favorite pieces.

“Not to worry, I will have it done!!” I said trying to hide the embarrassment I felt seeing one of my students right in front of me.

I lifted my gaze to find him staring at me, I gulped hard the minute he came close.

“I will take it from here, you can leave now,” I said moving away from the desk and re-adjusting my rumpled shirt.

“Does this mean, I’d have to take permission before coming in here?” He asked with a smirk forming on the side of his face.

I stayed silent, lost on what to say to him.

How was I to explain this to my fiancee, well obviously I couldn’t.

Ryan for a couple of seconds didn’t move an inch, instead he stood next to my desk.

His scent drifted into my nostrils, numbing my senses for a minute. His eyes were the same shade of blue as the colors of the ocean.

I jolted when he had his fingers on my face trailing down to my cheeks. I had my eyes closed loving the feeling of his hands on my face. But then, I had to comport myself quickly remembering I was in my office.

For some reason it felt just right because something warm pooled in between my legs, gulping in my spittle.

“Ryan, you can leave now!” I managed to say, taking my gaze off him as I had my throat cleared.

“Is that a yes?” Ryan asked walking towards the door, and then smiled staring at me.

My body seemed to have made a mind of its own, staring into his eyes wanting him to stay.

“I will be back,” he said as he leaned against my ears causing shivers to run down my spine with the way he had muttered out his words.

Seductively!!…

“You aren’t giving me an answer?” He said holding on to the doorknob.

I bobbed my head looking away hoping I was sure making the right decision letting this continue.

I bit on my lower lips, taking my eyes off him as I heard the sound of the door closed.

“Finally, he’s gone!” I gasped running my hand through my hair.

A gasp escaped from my lips the minute I could recall his soft touch on my thighs as I bit my lower lips with my eyes closed.

The door yanked open making me jolt from my silly thoughts of Ryan. I gazed up to find a student in front of me smiling like he had won a trophy being in my office.

“Good day,” He greeted as he had the door closed behind him walking towards me by my desk. I forced a smile at him hating that he had interrupted the little weird thoughts in my head.

And I couldn’t help but smile despite the fact that he had snapped me out of my reverie. But something just wasn’t right, the look he had on his face made me wonder whether or not he had heard Ryan and me a while ago.

“I’m Peter?” He said with a wide grin.

“I’m Sarah, your new biology teacher,” I had a wild smile creased over my face.

He said nothing afterward as he stood there smiling at me, making the energy in the room a little different from what it was supposed to be.

“Can I help you with something?” I asked with my voice laced with concern as I pulled my chair closer to my desk.

“No, not at all!!” He uttered staring speechless at me.

“Great, I’d see you around then Peter” I responded hoping he would leave.

My phone buzzed the next minute, and it turned out to be a text from my fiancee.

“Jerk!” I muttered under my breath wondering what took him this long to text back.

“Yes, sure!” He responded as I heard the creaking sound of the door to my office opening.

I felt odd for a bit, wondering why he had come in here just to make his name known to me without any sensible thing to say.

I stared at the buzzing notification light from my phone but then, I ignored it.

“I’d only let this go on for the next six months,” I said to myself knowing fully well how bad this might turn out to be.

I chuckled softly remembering how embarrassed I was seeing him right in front of me sitting as one of the students in my class.

“College students indeed,” I said.

And just then a knock was heard from the other side of my door.

“Could this day get any worse?” I muttered to myself feeling exhausted from attending to the students already.

I heard the locks twitch as a woman appeared in front of me, smiling.

Her rich chestnut hair was held up in a bun by a ribbon, there was a light dusting of freckles across the bridge of her nose and cheeks.

“I see you have settled in quickly,” she said walking towards me by my desk, just like the other student Peter did a while ago.

I forced a smile looking into her eyes and for a minute I noticed she had a beautiful set of teeth.

“Sure!” I responded adjusting my hair, hoping she wouldn’t notice how unkempt I looked after all that happened a while ago.

The next minute she settled in the chair in front of me, sniffing the air like she noticed something.

I hope I don’t smell like sex!!… I thought to myself while roaming my eyes around her watching her attitude at the table.

“You seem pretty much the type to get along with these kids!” She mumbled.

I arched a brow wondering why she had made such a statement, with a smile creased over her face.

“Kids?” I asked looking into her torque set of eyes.

Her laugh erupted in the air as I slowly wondered what she found funny in the question I had asked.

“You’d find out soon enough!” She responded standing up on her feet ready to leave.

“I’m Elena, and it’s nice to have you here,” Her voice echoed in my head, as I watched her walk out of my office.

I sniffed my arm, hoping no one noticed which eventually would get me into trouble.

I spun my chair around in circles with my eyes closed as I exhaled.

My phone buzzed over and over again on my desk with the same name displayed on the notification box “Rob”.

I scoffed gently, picking up my phone as I clicked on the messages popping up on my front screen.

Going through the messages sent, I realized my mind had slowly wandered off to the thoughts of Ryan down on me. An afterthought as I tried focusing on the messages in front of me but still I couldn’t.

And I thought that if I could have a wish, it would be that nothing would ever change. Unfortunately, I was engaged to be married.

I walked over to my little shelf, taking a little tour around my office loving the beautiful wall prints in my space.

A week ago, I had nothing and now here I was sitting in an office known to be mine.

“A biology teacher!” I said out loud to myself as I fell back to my chair loving the sound of the word in my head.

For some reason, I felt I had been blessed with the presence of Ryan in my life, and just when silly thoughts of what he had done while popped into my head, I felt weird.

“Six months and that’s it!” I said to myself knowing fully well that I enjoyed him being around me.

I also couldn’t deny the fact that Ryan in one way or the other had lightened my mood without even knowing it.

“Could it be lust?!” I wondered to myself hoping things wouldn’t get out of hand to the extent I’d find it hard to control things for myself.

As I sat there lost in deep thoughts my phone buzzed, apparently it was a text from Ryan.

My heart skipped a bit the minute I saw who it was as I gulped nervously staring at my screen.

“How the hell is he texting me here?” I muttered to myself.

“Wanna hang out tonight?!” It read…

I gnashed my teeth. He was asking for more than he could take. “I’m not to be seen with one of my students, out on a date at such an odd hour,” I texted back as I glanced over at my phone waiting on his next response.

“I know a good place,” he texted back.
