Just as I promised Angela, I made the news disappear after two days. All I had to do was pay the right people and crash the already existing sites carrying the news.

Angela and Daniel already began their friendship as per se. She drops by the hospital every day after work, making sure to be captured by the press.

“Should I come in with you?” Lucas asked as he stared at Veronica’s house from the window. “she is home alone. Her husband traveled.”

“watch the perimeter while I’m in there.” I don’t need nosey neighbors interrupting my discussion with her.

“Okay boss.” He turned up the volume of the radio as I got out of the car.
