95. What do you want, Alex?

Both Alex and Jessica looked at each other. They did not expect her to find them and listen to their conversation.

Their silence set her idea firm that there was something they were hiding from her. She stepped forward to them carefully with a scared heart and she did not bother to hide it anyway.

"Guys?" Her eyes traveled to both and then landed on her husband. "What I can't handle, Alex? What are you guys hiding from me?" Chloe asked again. "You are scaring me now, please do tell me..."

She tried to be firm but the plea in her tone gave away her fear.

Alexander walked close to her and held her hands. She shook her head. "Tell me, Alex. What are you hiding from me?" She was hurt by the way he was hiding things from her.

Alex shook his head, holding her tightly. "I wasn't hiding anything. It's just me... I don't know how to break this to you, dark eyes. You are so happy after such a long time and I don't want to ruin this for you."

Chloe looked up at him. Her eyes turned teary.
