Whatever happened between watching his father and the other talk he knew something big was happening. As they got closer to the cottage he saw that the door was cracked open. He knew that was a sign that his mother was there or one of her pages at least. Much later in the night when the two had finally exhausted themselves meeting closer and almost getting burned by the fire that was ignited between them.
