“Of course, Miss Hailey. We won't let any shameless woman enter... much more those people who pretend as Missus Carter," as the woman's voice faded, I could still hear her last words, "She isn't fit to be Missus Carter, and Mr. Carter has a good standard for his woman.”

These two front desk women still didn't learn their lessons as I thought they would, they kept whispering that didn't seem to whisper but intentionally.

“Oh! Don't let her hear you! Missus Carter "wannabe" might get mad again... and who knows probably has the power to fire us!”

“She isn't Missus Carter! Mr. Carter didn't answer her calls. It's proof that she's lying to us.”

The two women kept talking about me. I massaged my palm, turned it into fist, and gather all my will not to explode. Expecting I would be really angry, the two had an evil smirk when they seamlessly mocked me. Of course, they had Hailey in their back, so they wouldn't be easily get scared anymore.
