Chapter 55 The Lavish Gift

Alice’s P.O.V.

In the middle of the night, I wake up in the opulent cabin of the yacht. I notice Alexander standing outside, leaning against the railing with a cigarette in his hand. He must be feeling the chill of the night air as he is shirtless.

I climb down from the bed and wrap the comforter around my body. As I step out of the room, a cool breeze caresses my face, causing my hair to sway gently.

After approaching him, I envelop him in the comforter, hugging him from behind. The contact of our bare skin beneath the blanket sends a delightful shiver down my spine.

Curiously, I inquire, “Why are you out here, Alexander? It’s so cold.” Nuzzling closer to him, I seek comfort in his presence.

He responds, clasping my hand and bringing it close to his lips. “Just enjoying the night view.” He whispers before planting a gentle kiss on my hand, bringing a smile to my face.
