Of course, I had a faint premonition of who it was, but I can't tell Sofia now nor can I bring myself to lie to her, so I fell silent and pretended to do something on my phone.

Even without looking at Sophia, I knew she was hurt by my actions, and it broke my heart, but some things can't be said that sudden.
