Salvadore's pov

I was on my way to the office when little Enzo ran to me. From his pace and the way he panted after halting down made it obvious that there was something definitely not right.

"What's the matter?" I asked even before he could utter a word.

"F.... Father, it's... It's." He barely uttered anything meaningful as he was still trying to regain his breath.

I placed my hands on his little shoulders. "It's okay Enzo, relax and then talk." I said to him.

Although I was supposed to get worried, it didn't really move me. There's nothing I possibly couldn't handle.

That was the level of confidence I had in myself.

"Are you calm now son?" I asked and he gave a nod.

"Good, now you can speak." I gave him the go ahead as he nodded and then began.
