Chapter 32 : Val’s family

“Let’s go” said Val buckling the seat belt. Jack started the car and asked nervously “Will your dad like me?”

Val stared at him with amused “I thought you are confident in your looks” said Val mockingly.

“I am not talking about looks baby. I mean…Argh!! you don’t understand” said Jack controlling the steering wheel.

“Of course I understand because remember I am also meeting your parents after a week or so” said Val gritting her teeth. Now he knows how scared she is to meet his parents. Good for him.

Jack chuckled and held her hand “Concentrate on the road Mr. Kelley” but Jack shrugged it off.

Finally they reached Ian’s house at half past ten. Jack bought Sara’s favorite flowers and Ian’s favorite wine. Val opened the door and entered to see Sara’s excited face and Ian’s impatient face.

Jack saw the huge mansion with luxurious decorum in awe. He never expected Val’s family to be this rich. She looked so simple but looking at her parents mansion, cars and the antique furniture he can co
