Chapter 45 : Big threat

Val slowly wrapped her arms around Jack’s neck and said “Please don’t leave me” Jack held her cheeks with his hands and kissed her softly. He never saw Val this vulnerable.

He should really need to take good care of her and never let her have another nightmare. Val let herself go completely and kissed him like her life depended on it. Jack lifted her in bridal style and walked towards the bedroom.

He didn’t switch on the lights but the room is filled with moonlight from the windows. He slowly placed her on the bed and wanted to cover her with the duvet but Val pulled him by his neck. Jack put his hands on both sides of Val’s head for support.

Val’s eyes are swollen and red he felt sorry for her. She shouldn’t have experienced all that at such young age. He wished he should’ve met Val earlier. He wiped her tears with his left hand and supported his body weight with his right hand.
