I cleared the familiar hallways, looking back at least twice to look suspicious enough. I could hear her old strained steps, struggling to keep up with my pace.

When I was sure she was within hearing distance, I moved from the door, leaving it slightly ajar and moved towards Dameon, every step conniving.

He stood from the bed and took quick steps to where I stood. "It hasn't even been three days yet." He said and planted a kiss on my neck.
