CHAPTER THIRTY NINE: The trip

Kade stared into nothingness, his eyes a shade of grey and as one who can transport to a more spiritual world he was honestly concerned.

"Stop."

His unresponsive. Still. He breaths. His heart beats. But his stalk still.

"I said stop the damned car."

He demanded that when everyone noticed the paralyzed Kade, that moment the pool of tears in his eyes let go and it escaped.

"What the hell is wrong with him?"

Brandon brings Kade closer, making sure his dragon ease all his physical ailments. He has does not physical pain. What is happening to him?

"We don't know. This is the first time this happens. Why is his eyes that color?"

Brandon's numb fingers opened the car doors to give his lost companion air, wherever he was. That's when Kade snapped out of it and took a deep breath in. He rolled outside landing on a patch of grass clutching his chest.

"Quick his hyperventilating... Hand me a bottle of water!"

Pheobe handed Cassidy a bottle of still water and she rushed out clearly
