CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

LIAM’S POV

Who would have thought that journalism would be this strenuous, we’ve been walking around one street for about an hour and yet we haven’t gotten any tangible interview.

Not to mention that it was the exact same thing when we came here two days ago.

I regret why I suggested this in the first place when we would have easily gone to the authorities for the answers to these very direct questions that people seem to have a problem with.

Everyone we approach says the same thing, either they don’t want to speak or they don’t have any opinion.

Most just shy away from the camera, while some ignorant ones throw insults at us, saying we’ve come to disrupt their peace.

It doesn’t help that the heat of the sun is merciless and we haven’t taken a break since we started, all thanks to my hardheaded partner.

I groan when she turns to the next alley, walking in front of me speedily with hawk eyes, looking for who to interview next.
