“Now you chased our mothers away,” Benson threw the last piece of the slice of pizza in his hand.

“Me?” Alita’s eyes bulged and her mouth open. He nodded and she scoffed, then said, “You were the one trying to play smart with me and I was defending myself and somehow they were uncomfortable with it. So, it’s either you chased them or they chased themselves with whatever they were thinking, feeling, or seeing,” she puffed out her chest and pursed her lips. “Now, I lost my appetite,” she handed him the box of pizza but he refused to take it from her.
