49.

The last time Benson had a clash with the police he was set up. They found some stash of cocaine in a supply run to one of his warehouses. It took about two months to finally prove he wasn't guilty as charged.

A competitor had set him up for doom but his honesty and purity with his business and lifestyle saved him.

It was all over the news that he was a drug dealer. Newspapers called him all sorts of names and made all kinds of assumptions about him. It was a hard time for Benson and he wouldn't want to ever go through that again.

Now, another case had come up about drugs. again. His heart felt tired as he tried to comfort Alita's mother.

"I'm sorry about that Mrs. Martinez," he looked away and sighed suddenly heavy-hearted.

"Lisa, call me Lisa. I think we are way past Mrs. Martinez now...and it just feels a little weird to keep hearing my husband's name. It digs up memories that should stay buried," she smiled weakly. She looked drained.

"Alright then," he observed her keenly.
