“She is not staff here? What do you mean she is not staff here?” Martha exclaimed, contorting her face and squinting her eyes at her partner.

“Nobody recognizes her and we’ve been through every staff record and talked to all of them too. None of them fit the very blurry shot we have of her,” he shrugged and held his waist. “It is obvious she is an outsider that came in to look like a nurse here so she can have access to the slab room.”

She stood up from the chair and drummed her fingers on her desk, setting her gaze straight ahead at nothing. She raised her face to him, staring at him expectantly. Ge shrugged and looked away.

“Fuck,” Martha splayed her hands in the air in frustration. She tightened her jaw and ruffled her fingers through her hair. “We have to have something on her. This cannot be a dead end. They always make a mistake. We just have to find hers.”
