We got home and I was surprised to see my mother waiting by the doorstep of the mansion with a worried look on her face, we stepped down from the car and walked towards her, she looked so tense and worried

“Sweetheart, how did it go?” She asked gazing all over my face, I couldn't say anything to her, I closed the distance between us and wrapped my arms around her, engulfing her in a warm hug

“We did it, Mother, we finally put the wicked doctor in his place and he couldn't even utter a single word”

“That’s my baby girl” Came my mother’s voice as she tightened her arms around me, while I hugged her back, she suddenly opened her right arm and gestured for Mr Valmore to come close and he did, Mr Valmore was surprised when my mother pulled him close and wrapped her arm around him,

“Thank you for helping my daughter”
