The princess only stopped when she finally reached a fairly quiet place. Princess Elle's vision blurred, when she realized that she had actually been crying along the way.

The whole time, Princess Elle was actually aware that Raoul had never looked at her as a romantic partner. Even if they had a rough time together, then danced amidst a glittering party, Princess Elle always knew that Raoul's thoughts were only on Ariana.

Previously, Princess Elle had confidently said that she would stay by Raoul's side until the king could accept her love. But when Princess Elle saw her love rival in person, the girl immediately knew that she had no chance of winning against Ariana. Ariana was probably trying to appear to have no feelings toward Raoul.
